How to watch
How to rewatch soccer games: full match replays without spoilers
Missed the game? How to rewatch soccer games as full match replays or highlights, without seeing the score first, on phone, tablet or TV.
If you want to know how to rewatch soccer games without hearing the score first, the process takes about a minute: find the match, choose a full match, a half or highlights, then press play. Footballzzz keeps full match replays and highlights for the 2026 football season, and its pages are built so you can rewatch a game without seeing how it ended. This guide walks through each step.
How to rewatch soccer games in three steps
- Find the match. Browse by competition, open a team page or use the search box.
- Pick what to watch. Choose the full match, one of the halves or the highlights.
- Press play. If the picture stalls, switch server and try again.
Replays usually appear within hours of the final whistle. A match page that is live but has no video yet says that videos are on their way, so bookmark it and come back later.
Find the match: by competition, by team or with the search box
The quickest route is the competition page. Each one gathers every replay from that competition in the archive, so you can scan for the fixture you missed:
- Premier League replays for English league football
- Champions League replays for the European nights
- World Cup 2026 replays for the summer tournament
If you follow one club, open its team page instead, for example Manchester United or Manchester City. You will see every game of theirs in the archive in one place.
Not sure where a match sits? Use the search box at the top of the site. Type a team name or a fixture such as "Norway vs England", narrow the list by competition, or pick the match date.
What you can rewatch on Footballzzz
The archive covers the 2026 football season, so you will not find older seasons here. Besides the three competitions above, it includes La Liga, Serie A, the Bundesliga, Ligue 1, the Europa League, the FA Cup, the Nations League and several domestic cups. Each competition has its own page, linked from the "More" menu at the top of the site, and the Competitions page lists them all.
If you only remember one of the two clubs, its team page is the shortest route to the match.
Full match, halves or highlights: which should you watch?
Not every video is the same, and the player offers whichever versions exist for that game:
| Option | Best for |
|---|---|
| Full match | A proper rewatch of the whole game, start to finish |
| 1st half and 2nd half | Picking up where you left off, or watching in two sittings |
| Extra time & pens | Knockout games that went beyond 90 minutes |
| Highlights | A quick catch-up when you only have a few minutes |
Choose the full match if you missed the game live and want the real experience. Choose highlights if you only want the key moments. Some pages add other items, such as a ceremony video.
Choosing a server and commentary language
A match page can carry more than one commentary, for example from different broadcasters or in different languages. When there is a choice, a Commentary row appears under the player and each button loads a different video. A Server row appears when the chosen video has more than one source.
If the video stops, buffers or never starts, do these in order:
- Press another Server button.
- Try another Commentary if one is offered.
- Use the link under the player to open the video in a new tab.
- Refresh the page after a minute.
Make the rewatch feel live
A replay is more fun when you treat it like the real thing. The match page shows the original kick-off time in GMT, so you can pick a time to start the full match as if you were watching live. Take a proper break at half-time, or use the separate halves if the match page offers them. If you are watching with friends who also missed the game, agree not to check phones until the final whistle.
If you only have the highlights, watch the full match later. Highlights tell you what happened without the build-up, which is the part that makes a game worth rewatching.
How to stay spoiler-free
Footballzzz does not print scores on match cards or on match pages, so browsing the site will not give the result away. The risk is everywhere else. A few habits help:
- Mute score alerts from sports and news apps until you have watched.
- Stay out of social feeds and group chats for the match, because a single post can spoil it.
- Be careful with other guides and reviews. Ours say at the top when they talk about results.
Watching on phone, tablet and TV
The player runs inside the page and supports full screen, so a current mobile browser is enough on a phone or tablet. Rotate the device for a bigger picture, and stay on Wi-Fi if you can, because a full match is a long stream. On a TV, the simplest options depend on your device: use its built-in web browser if it has one, or send the browser tab from your phone or laptop to the screen with your device's own casting or mirroring.
Watch the latest football replays
Here are three recent matches to try, each with a full match and highlights where available:
- Manchester United vs Tottenham full match replay, a Premier League game at Old Trafford.
- Manchester City vs PSG full match replay, a Champions League league phase night at the Etihad Stadium.
- Norway vs England full match replay, a World Cup 2026 quarter-final in Miami Gardens.
New to the format? Our guide to the Champions League league phase explains how the league phase works and who goes through. You can also browse the other replays for PSG, England and Tottenham on their team pages.
Frequently asked questions
Are the replays the full 90 minutes?
Where a full match is available, yes: the Video control on the match page offers the whole game, or the first and second halves as separate videos, plus highlights. Not every match has every option, and a page shows a Videos are on their way notice until its video is published.
Is it free to rewatch soccer games on Footballzzz?
You do not need an account to open a replay page and press play on Footballzzz. The video itself plays inside an embedded player that comes from another provider, so how that player behaves is outside our control. If one server misbehaves, switch to another using the Server buttons.
Can I watch football replays on my phone?
Yes. Footballzzz works in a normal mobile browser, and the embedded player supports full screen. Open the match page, choose the full match, a half or the highlights, and press play. Turning your phone sideways gives a larger picture, and you can switch servers if a stream struggles on mobile data.
What if a replay video does not load?
Use the Server buttons under the player to try another source. If a match has several commentaries, switching to a different one also loads a different video. As a last resort, the link under the player opens the video in a new tab. Wait a minute and refresh before assuming the video is gone.
Does the page show the score?
No. Match pages and match cards show the teams, competition, date and stadium but do not print the score, so you can open a game without learning how it ended. Guides that discuss results, such as season reviews, carry a spoiler warning at the top, so check before you read one.
